Tajik Minister of Energy and Industry Gul Sherali met on Wednesday in Dushanbe with Israeli Ambassador to Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent) Hilel Newman.

The sides have discussed cooperation in investment sector, design and construction of solar energy stations with the use of Israel’s experience, Tajik Energy and Industry Ministry told AP.

The sides have also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of mining and processing, light industry, production of hydrocarbon in Tajikistan, establishment of joint fruit and vegetable processing companies, leather and wool production and production of diary products.

Mr.Newman promised to discuss these issues with Israeli investors and industrial companies.
