Today’s session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan of the fourth convocation approved amendments to the Law on state budget for 2012, which were designed by the Government of the country.

Deputy Minister of Finance Ruhullo Hakimov said that according to the approved amendments ‘Zernovaya Compania’ Ltd, which operates in Bobojongafurov region of Sughd province, will be exempted from VAT and customs duties for import of new technologies required for production of macaroni foods from Italy.

“The contract was signed for 3mln Euro while the company will save at least 3mln Somoni (nearly 500.000 Euro) when importing new technologies,” Hakimov said.

He said that production line, which was imported from Italy, will let the company to produce more than 2 tons of macaroni foods per hour.

Deputies also supported the Government’s appeal on the use of 15% of funds, which come to the budget from Tajik Foreign Ministry, for construction of a new building for Foreign Ministry. This is approximately 4mln Somoni.
