DUSHANBE, July 6, 2012, Asia-Plus  — A charitable action with participation with a group of ambassadors took place at the boarding school for blind and partially sighted children in Hisor district yesterday.

The Tajik MFA information department reports the Dushanbe Ambassadors Club (DAC) organized a charitable action, Food Festival, at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe Hotel on May 6.

Representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations active in Tajikistan as well as employees of the Tajik MFA presented various national dishes at the festival.  Money earned from the sale of the dishes was used for purchasing special paper for printing books and notebooks, office accessories, air conditioners and other needed goods for the Hisor boarding school for blind and partially sighted children, the source said.
