DUSHANBE, July 18, 2012, Asia-Plus  — The Board of the Ministry of Finance met on July 18 to review the results of the work carried out over the first six months of this year, the Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) reports.

The national budget for the first half-year of 2012 has reportedly been estimated at some 4.4 billion somoni (equivalent to some 930 million U.S. dollars).

Under the revised target, the year-end budget is expected to stand at 10.16 billion somoni (equivalent to more than 2.1 billion U.S. dollars).

The meeting also endorsed the plan of actions for the ministry for the second half-year of 2012, the source said.
