DUSHANBE, August 13, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Heads of Tajik consulates in Istanbul (Turkey) and Mazar-i Sharif (Afghanistan) have been replaced.

According to Tajik MFA information department, Ilhom Abdurahmonov, formerly head of the MFA finance department, was appointed to head Tajikistan’s Consulate-General in Istanbul, and Jamshed Boboyev, who had previously served as head of the MFA executive office, was appointed head of Tajikistan’s Consulate in Mazar-i Sharif.

Tajikistan now has three consulates in the Afghan cities of Kunduz, Mazar-i Sharif and Fayzabad and five consulates general in Russia (Ufa and Yekaterinburg), the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Kazakhstan (Almaty) and Turkey (Istanbul).
