DUSHANBE, August 13, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Resident of Cairo Karim Ramadan Azzuz was detained a the end of last week on suspicion of killing Tajik student who was studying at Al-Azhar University, a reported posted on the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRP)’s website said.

According to the report, Tajik student Hoji Amriddin (resident of the Darvoz district in Gorno Badakhshan), 28, was taken to one of hospitals in Cairo with multiple stab wounds on July 27, where he died the next day.

The assailant reportedly attacked Hoji Amriddin for a mobile phone.  Police have found the trace of the criminal through the number of the mobile phone, which the murder sold to local merchant, the report said.
