DUSHANBE, August 16, 2012, Asia-Plus – A fatal traffic, involving the son of Erkin Rahmatulloyev, State Adviser to the President for International Affairs, has taken place in Dushanbe.

According to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate, two cars – Lexus-250 driven by Oraz Rahmatulloyev, 30, and Opel-Astra driven by Nematullo Rahmatov, 55 – collided in the evening of August 14 at the crossing of Shestopalov and Qaraboyev streets, not far from the Dushanbe visa and registration department (OVIR).

Nematullo Rahmatov reportedly died roughly four hours after being rushed to a hospital.  The cause of the accident is under investigation, the source said.
