In official message released today the Political Council of the Islamic Renaissance party of Tajikistan condemned massacre of Myanmar Muslims.

IRPT”s Political Council urges the United Nations Organization to put an end to lawlessness in Myanmar and protect the rights of Muslim minorities in this country.

“We urge to protect the rights and freedoms of Myanmar Muslims through increasing pressure on the Myanmar dictatorial regime,” the party said in its message.

IRPT outlines that according to official statistical data starting from June 10 this year more than 20.000 Muslims were killed in Myanmar by Buddhists, nearly 90.000 were rendered homeless, 17 Muslim settlements were destroyed, more than 5000 women and girls were raped and 30.000 people are missing.
