DUSHANBE, October 22, 212, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a draft town planning code at an October 22 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon Speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.

The town planning code reportedly determines legal, organizational and social aspects of town planning in the country.  

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also considered bills requiring amendments to the laws on tourism, Tajikistan’s Red Crescent Society (RCS) and holidays.

All these issues will be considered at the next sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place in Dushanbe on October 24, Sultonov noed.
