DUSHANBE, October 29, 2012 Asia-Plus — The 10th meeting of the Tajik-Kazakh commission for trade and economic cooperation, co-chaired by Davlatali Saidov, Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management of Tajikistan and Nurlan Kapparov, Minister for Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan, has opened in Dushanbe today.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the meeting is considering issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in sectors like investment, energy light industry, labor migration, education, agriculture, ecology, and tourism.

The meeting participants are also expected to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries in combating trafficking in narcotics, psychotropic substances and precursors, the source said.
