DUSHANBE, November 19, 2012, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon, who is currently in Sughd to participate in celebrations dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the 16th session of the Shuroi Oli (Supreme Council) of Tajikistan, yesterday attend a ceremony of opening of a new six-story building at the Bahoriston Resort, located on the shore of the Qairoqqum Reservoir.

Some 100 specialists will work at the building that will accommodate  250 people, the president’s official website said.

While at the Bahoriston Resort, President Rahmon also met with participants of the 16th session of the Shuroi Oli of Tajikistan.

We will recall that the 16th session of the Shuroi Oli of the 12th convocation took place at the Arbob Cultural Place in the Bobojonghafurov district from November 16 to December 2 of 1992.  The session accepted the resignation of President Rahmon Nabiyev and elected Emomali Rahmon to head the Shuroi Oli.
