Dushanbe. November 22. “Asia-Plus” – Moukhiddin Kabiri, leader of the Islamic Renaisance party of Tajikistan and deputy of the Lower Chamber of Tajikistan’s Parliament, took part in the “Syria national dialogue” conference held on 18-20 November in Tehran.

The conference brought together more than 200 representatives of Syrian government, Syrian opposition, the United Nations, diplomats accredited in Tehran, politicians and political analysts from various countries, IRPT told AP.

M.Kabiri suggested to use Tajikistan’s peace-building experience to achieve peace and consent in Syria.

“IRPT leader stressed that achievement of peace does not mean defeat of any of the conflict participants,” the source has said.

Kabiri urged Iran and Russia to express a more active position regarding Syrian conflict, adding that it should be similar to their peace-building efforts in Tajikistan.
