DUSHANBE, March 29, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi yesterday here met with his Kazakh counterpart Yerlan Idrisov.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides discussed issues related to political, economic and humanitarian cooperation between their countries.

Zarifi and Idrisov noted that Tajikistan and Kazakhstan had similar positions on the majority of regional and international problems.

The two expressed satisfaction with mutual support for regional and international initiatives and confirmed the necessity of further coordination of their foreign political actions concerning interests of the two countries.

Zarifi and Idrisov signed the Cooperation Program between Foreign Ministries of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan for the year of 2013.
