DUSHANBE, May 28, 2013, Asia-Plus – The first session of the Tajik-Kyrgyz Interstate Coordination Council that took place in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek resulted in signing of a number of cooperation agreements, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

Tajikistan’s Commission for Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel Certification and Kyrgyzstan’s High Certification Commission signed an agreement on cooperation in training and certification of scientific and pedagogical personnel of high professional qualification.

The customs agencies of the two countries signed a protocol on exchange of information about movement of goods and their customs clearance.

The sides also signed government-to-government agreements on cooperation in the field of sports and physical training, cooperation in the field of civil defense and prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations, cooperation in the field of communications and information technologies, and on international automotive transport.
