DUSHANBE, September 19, 2013, Asia-Plus – Officers from the special unit of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan will participate in the Grom-2013 (Thunder 2013) exercise that will be conducted in Kyrgyzstan on September 20, according to the DCA press center.

This international exercise, which will involve special units of drug control agencies of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan as well as special police units of Kyrgyzstan, is aimed at combating drug trafficking.

The purpose of the exercise is to rehearse coordination and interaction in operations against organized drug trafficking groups, the source said.
