DUSHANBE, October 2, 2013, Asia-Plus –  The 20th meeting of the Coordination Council of the Heads of the CIS Tax Services is taking place in Minsk, Belarus on October 3.

According to the CIS Executive Committee press center, the meeting participants will discuss states and prospects of further expansion of cooperation between the tax services of the CIS nations, the progress of implementation of decisions made a the previous meeting of the Council and its plan of work for 2014.

The meeting is expected to discuss the issue of giving the status of head organization on training and retraining of tax personnel to Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation and National University of State Tax Service of Ukraine.

The Council members will also discuss the progress of implementation of the plan of actions on implementation of the second stage (2012-2015) of the CIS economic development strategy and information about the practice of tax regulation of innovation and investment activities in the CIS member nations.

The meeting participants will also discuss issues related cooperation of the CIS tax services with banks, migration service agencies and law enforcement agencies.
