DUSHANBE, December 10, 2013, Asia-Plus — Olimjon Salimzoda, the head of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Committee on International Cooperation, Public Associations and Information today left for Tokyo, Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon told Asia-Plus Tuesday morning.

According to him, Tajik MP visits Japan on invitation of Japan’s Government.  While in Japan Salimzoda is scheduled to visit Tokyo and Kyoto, where he will hold talks with representatives of Japan’s Government and Parliament.

“The main purpose of the visit is for Salimzoda to discuss issues related to strengthening of ties between the parliaments of the two countries, Sultonov said.
