DUSHANBE, December 10, 2013, Asia-Plus – In Tajikistan, inflation for the first eleven months of this year has stood at 3.4 percent, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
In November, inflation reportedly stood at 0.3 percent.
0.3 percent rise in prices of products of food industry was reported last month and non-foodstuffs also rose in cost 0.3 percent.
Prices and rates for services rendered to the population reportedly also rose 0.3 percent in November, a source at Tajik central bank said.
International financial institutions expect Tajikistan’s year-end inflation to stand at 5.0 percent in 2013.
Last year, inflation stood at 6.4 percent, 2.9 percent lower than in 2011.
