DUSHANBE, December 14, 2013, Asia-Plus — On Friday December 13, Tajik Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Nematjon Bouriyev, met here with a delegation of China’s Ministry of Commerce, according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MoEDT).

An official source at a MoEDT says rehabilitation of roads in the cities of Kulob and Qurghon Teppa was a major topic of the meeting.

“The main purpose of the visit is for the Chinese delegation to discuss implementation of road rehabilitation projects in the cities of Qurghon Teppa and Kulob in Khatlon province,” the source noted.

According to him, Chinese working group’s visit to Tajikistan will conclude on December 18 and its members will familiarize themselves with the state of roads in Kulob and Qurghon Teppa.
