DUSHANBE, April 25, 2014, Asia-Plus  — Over the first three months of this year Tajikistan has imported 194,000 of oil products, which was 115,000 tons more than in the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources (MoEWR).

A totaled reportedly included 171,000 tons of oil products delivered from Russia (88.1 percent), 13,125 tons of oil products delivered from Kazakhstan (6.8 percent), 7,012 tons of oil products delivered from Azerbaijan (3.5 percent) and 457 tons of oil product delivered from Kyrgyzstan (0.2 percent).

An average price for one ton of oil products delivered from Russian was 808 U.S. dollars, which was 458.00 U.S. dollars fewer than in the same period last year.

An average price for one ton of oil products delivered from Kazakhstan was 841 U.S. dollars, which was 20.00 U.S. dollars fewer than in January-March 2013.    

An average price for one ton of oil products delivered from Azerbaijan was 1,401 U.S. dollars, which was 54.00 U.S. dollars fewer than in the first quarter of 2013.      

An average price for one ton of oil products delivered from Kyrgyzstan was 894 U.S. dollars, which was 9.00 U.S. dollars fewer than in January-March 2013.

Gasoline reportedly constituted 47 percent (91,193 tons) of oil products delivered to Tajikistan over the report period.  An average price for one ton of gasoline delivered to the country in January-March was 733.00 USD, 291.00 USD fewer than in the same period last year.

Tajikistan has imported 76,271 tons of diesel fuel over the first three months of this year (39.3 percent of the overall volume of oil products delivered to Tajikistan over the report period).  An average price for one ton of diesel fuel delivered to the country in January-March was 818.00 USD.

Besides, Tajikistan has imported 19,554 tons of aviation fuel (10.1 percent), 2,793 tons of fuel oil (1.4 percent), 2,967 tons of engine oils (1.6 percent), and 1,246 tons of bitumen (0.6 percent) over the same three-month period.
