DUSHANBE, June 10, 2014, Asia-Plus — The first issue of an official mouthpiece of the Committee on Religious Affairs and Regulation of National Traditions and Rituals under the Government of Tajikistan (CRA),

(Religion and Society), has been published.  

Afshin Muqim, a spokesman for the CRA, says magazine

Din va Jomea

has a circulation of 500 and it will be published once a month.

According to him, the magazine is published in order to explain to citizens of Tajikistan what is the real Islam.

The CRA head Abdurahim Kholiqzoda is the editor-in-chief of

Din va Jomea

.  The price for one copy is 10.00 somoni.

The first issue contains articles written by employees of the CRA, the Islamic Center and the Islamic University.

It is to be noted that the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan (IRP) also publishes its own magazine –

Safinai Umed

(Vessel of Hope).  Besides, there is a religious website,

Rouzgor

, in Tajikistan.
