DUSHANBE, February 27, 2015, Asia-Plus – On Wednesday February 25, Tajik Ambassador to Pakistan Sherali Jononov met in Islamabad with Mr. Shahid Haqan Abbasi, Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources of Pakistan.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan in the field of oil processing and development of transportation and energy infrastructure.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources is a Pakistan Government”s federal and executive level ministry responsible to ensure availability and security of sustainable supply of oil and gas for economic development and strategic requirements of Pakistan and to coordinate development of natural resources of energy and minerals.
