DUSHANBE, April 22, 2015, Asia-Plus — Representatives of Tajik business community have gathered in Dushanbe to discuss anti-crisis measures.

An anti-crisis conference that is taking place at the Sheraton Dushanbe Hotel today has brought together top managers of construction companies, banks, transportation companies and other leading actors in Tajikistan’s market to discuss ways to minimize effects of the economic crisis.

The meeting participants reportedly include senior representatives of more than 70 Tajik leading companies (Orienbonk, AccessBank Tajikistan, Somon Air, Avicenna, Coca Cola, Tethys Petroluem, Poynada Beton and others) representing construction, banking, transport, commercial and production sectors of the country.

The conference has created a meaningful dialogue on challenges facing the country’s economy and its participants are discussing the current perception of business climate in Tajikistan and anti-crisis reforms in the country’s banking sector.

The conference participants are expected to sign a resolution on anti-crisis measures.

The event is organized by Elite Magazine, AmCham Tajikistan and the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
