Dushanbe. 14 August. “Asia Plus” — The issues of establishing a single platform for conducting money and credit operations of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) and credits organizations of the republic were discussed in a meeting with the participation of the representatives of country’s banks and specialists from the world known companies Boomberg and Thomson Reuters.
As mentioned by the press service of the NBT, the possibilities of improving the money supply, securities trading, conducting foreign exchange transactions in the interbank market.
During the meeting under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Head of the NBT, Jamoliddin Nuraliev, the representatives of Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters companies made presentations of their products.
It was noted that some of the banks of Tajikistan are already conducting foreign exchange transactions based on the programs of Thomson Reuters.
By the end of the meeting the credit organizations of Tajikistan were recommended to establish cooperation links with the Thomson Reuters company as soon as possible.
