Pakistani investors, creating a textile manufacturing units in free economic zones in Tajikistan, may hire up to 40% of the workforce from their country. This was reported by a representative of the Tajik Embassy Marufdzhon Abdurahmonov at a meeting with the business community in Faisalabad district of Pakistan Punjab province.

Moreover, Abdurahmonov said that Pakistani investors are exempt of all taxes and fees in the supplies of equipment for the produced by them textile enterprises in Tajik areas.

Tajik embassy representative noted that there are five free economic zones in Tajikistan, transmit Pakistani media.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, there are four free economic zones in Tajikistan  – “Sughd”, “Dangara”, “Panj” and “Ishkashim.”
