DUSHANBE, September 17, 2015, Asia-Plus — An international economic forum entitled “Hisor-3000” will take place in Dushanbe from October 8-9, according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT).

The theme of the forum is “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Development of Regions of the Republic of Tajikistan,” and official source at MEDT told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to him, the event is timed to a Day of the Entrepreneur, which is marked in Tajikistan on October 14.

“The main objective of the forum is in assessing and coordinating various projects being implemented in the country’s regions and in discussing implementations of the national programs aimed at promoting socioeconomic development of the regions,” the source said.

Industrial and agricultural exhibitions are expected to be held on the sidelines of the forum.
