DUSHANBE, September 17, 2015, Asia-Plus — The Fifth International Television Festival, dubbed TEFI-Commonwealth, is being held in Dushanbe.

TV companies from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are participating in the festival that kicked off on September 16 and runs through September 19.

A number of master-classes, roundtables and meetings will take place on the sidelines of the festival.  The festival participants and guests will hold discussions on the theme “Television for Children Educates or Entertains.”

 This year, the festival is held by the Russian Television Academy under support of the Government of Tajikistan and the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation (IFHC).
