DUSHANBE, October 19, 2015, Asia-Plus – Najmiddin Saidov, the brother of the Customs Service head Abdufattor Said, has reportedly been detained by officers of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) on suspicion of a large-scale bribery.

news agency reports Najmiddin Saidov, who is the head of Tojik Sodirot Bonk (TSB)’s branch in Khalton’s Danghara district, has been detained on suspicion of a large-scale fraud.

Radio Liberty’s Tajik Service

reports Najmiddin Saidov has demanded 600,000 U.S. dollars for the position of the head of the Customs Service’s office in Sughd province.

Najmiddin Saidov has reportedly been caught red-handed while taking part of the money.

Najmiddin Saidov is currently being held at the pretrial detention facility.  Criminal institutions have been instituted against him; he faces charge of a large-scale bribery.
