DUSHANBE, October 21, 2015, Asia-Plus – Four draft laws have been tabled to the agenda of today’s sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament) of the fifth convocation.
Muhammad Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says parliamentarians are discussing amendments proposed to the laws on seed farming, road traffic, state duty and use of renewable energy.
They have also to discuss and ratify a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and France on construction of control tower at the Dushanbe airport and a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of civil defense and prevention of emergency situations.
Parliamentarian will also discuss the issue of ratification of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran on reconstruction of the Istiqlol Tunnel in Tajikistan, Sultonov said.
