DUSHANBE, December 18, 015, Asia-Plus – Interior Ministry’s office in Russian Sverdlovsk oblast reported on December 17 that internationally wanted Tajik national has been detained in the Beloyarskiy district.

According to the preliminary data, a 50-year-old Tajik national is wanted by Tajik authorities on suspicion of service forgery and illegally getting a loan at one of banks in the city of Khujand, the capital of the Tajik northern province of Sughd.

In collusion with top managers of one of banks in Khujand, he reportedly got 1.7 million somoni (equivalent to about 400,000 U.S. dollars) at the bank using forged documents.  The loan was intended for construction of a mini cotton ginnery but they used 700,000 somoni to repay another illegal loan and divided up the remaining amount among themselves.
