DUSHANBE, March 11, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Thursday March 10, eight newly appointed ambassadors presented the copies of their credentials to First Deputy Foreign Minister Nizomiddin Zohidi, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

The new ambassadors include Oleg Ivanov of Belarus, Ingrid Tersman of Sweden, Andras Barani of Hungary, Danae Magdalene Kumanaku of Greece, Adrian McDaid of Ireland, Claudio Raja Gabaglia Lins of Brazil, Haji Mahadi bin Maidin of Brunei Darussalam, and Ouro-Sama Mohamed Saad of the Togolese Republic (Togo).

Today afternoon, these eight newly appointed ambassadors as well as U.S. Ambassador to Tajikistan Elizabeth I. Millard and Turkmen Ambassador to Tajikistan Chary Atayev will present their credentials to President Emomali Rahmon.   

We will recall that Ms. Elizabeth I. Millard presented the copies of her credentials to Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov on January 26 and Mr. Chary Atayev presented copies of his credentials to Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov on February 4.
