DUSHANBE, March 15, 2016, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon yesterday met here with Mr. Wang Lin, General Manager of Poly Technologies Co., Ltd. also Vice President of China Poly Group Corporation.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the two sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and China in developing Tajikistan’s energy sector, constructing head and power plants in Tajikistan and implementing various projects in the fields of industry and construction.

They reportedly noted that use of latest technologies and Tajikistan’s rich water and energy resources would promote enhancement of various sectors of Tajikistan’s economy.

Rahmon and Wang expressed satisfaction with an active participation of Chinese large companies in implementation of significant regional projects.

Tajik president reportedly expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and China.

In the course of the talks, they also exchanged views on a number of other issues being of mutual interest, the president’s website said.

Founded in 1984, Poly Technologies is a subsidiary of China Poly Group Corporation, with headquarters in Beijing, China.  The company is reportedly capitalizing on the implementation of China”s “Belt and Road” strategy and the country”s work in supporting and working with the emerging economies of Asia, Africa and Latin America with a focus on engaging in energy, power generation, infrastructure construction and property development projects in those markets.
