DUSHANBE, April 21, 2016, Asia-Plus – Bilateral consultations between the foreign ministries of Tajikistan and Turkey on consular issues took place in Dushanbe on April 19, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

Co-chaired by Ambassador Bahrom Kholnazarov, Head of the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consular Department, and Ambassador Mehmet Samsar, Director General for Consular Affairs of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affair, the meeting focused on issues related to bilateral cooperation, legal aid and rights of citizens.

The two sides also exchanged views on expansion of bilateral cooperation in countering terrorism and extremism, the source said.
