DUSHANBE, May 6, 2016, Asia-Plus – Sharif Said, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), yesterday received Georgia’s Ambassador to Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent) Konstantin Zhgenti.
The two reportedly discussed issues related to holding a conference of representatives of business communities of Tajikistan and Georgia in Dushanbe in the near future.
They, in particular, noted that the forum would promote strengthening of economic ties between the two countries.
Sharif Said outlined sectors like food, light and processing industries, agriculture, pharmaceutics, tourism, and handicraft, as areas that could drive the bilateral trade between Tajikistan and Georgia.
