DUSHANBE, June 23, 2016, Asia-Plus – Head of the Tajik Labor Ministry’s office in Moscow Zohir Mirzozoda has met with Director General of the Moscow Multifunctional Migration Center Nikolai Fedoseyev.
According to the Tajik Labor Ministry’s office in Moscow, the two discussed issues related to cooperation in raising Tajik labor migrants’ awareness of legal requirements for staying and working in the Russian Federation.
They also discussed the issues of optimization and efficiency of services provided under an insurance policy. A special attention was paid to reregistration and extension of the work permit term.
During the meeting, Mirzozoda also familiarized himself with work of the Multifunctional Migration Center’s pilot portal for employment.
The Multifunctional Migration Center was opened in Sakharovo village in January 2015. For its work there were used tents brought from Sochi after the Olympic Games. The Center in Sakharovo provides the following features for foreign citizens: medical examination and certification conducting by specialists, including all the necessary tests and analyzes confirming the absence of dangerous diseases; testing the knowledge of Russian language, history and laws of the Russian Federation and issuing the appropriate certificate; and legalization of TIN and registration. The Center reportedly helps prepare the package of documents, transmits them to the appropriate department and recruits staff according to the employers’ request.

reported that a worker from Tajikistan dropped dead in April last year while standing in line to apply for a Russian work permit at the Multifunctional Migration Center in Sakharovo. Komiljon Esanov, 48, had reportedly been waiting in line for two days when he became ill. By the time an ambulance arrived an hour later he was already dead.
