DUSHANBE, July 25, 2016, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on July 23 signed a number of laws passed by Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) and seconded by the country’s upper house (Majlisi Milli) of parliament.

The president’s official website reports Rahmon signed laws on international agreements of Tajikistan, applications of physical and legal entities, changes and addenda proposed to the Constitution of Tajikistan, on the Government of Tajikistan, on courts, as well as changes and addenda proposed to the country’s labor code.

Changes and addenda were reportedly made to the country’s constitutional laws for the purpose of providing implementation of amendments adopted by the constitutional referendum that took place in Tajikistan on May 22.

As far as a new edition of the country’s labor code is concerned, it reportedly takes into consideration various aspects of new socioeconomic relations and observance of human rights and freedoms.

The labor code in new edition ensures observance of legal rights of employees, employers, state and other subjects of labor relations, the president’s official website said.
