Today, on August 22, began a working visit of the Chairman of the Committee of emergency situations and civil defense under the government of Tajikistan, Lieutenant-General Rustam Nazarzoda in Geneva UN office for humanitarian Affairs.


As reported the chief of the press center of CoES and civil defense of Tajikistan Umeda Yusupova, in the framework of the working visit Rustam Nazarzoda will meet with the leaders of the Geneva UN office for humanitarian Affairs, with the assistant of Secretary-General of the UN partnership for the countries of the Middle East and Central Asia, with the head of Administration of the International Committee of the red cross for Europe and Central Asia, with heads of the International civil defense organization (ICDO), the Swiss Agency for development and cooperation, with the Director of the office for the coordination of humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) of the United Nations in Geneva, head of UN OCHA for the coordination of field work, etc.

At the meeting it is planned to discuss the issues of the reduction disaster risk in Tajikistan, strengthening the capacity of training and retraining the staff and other issues, said the press-Secretary of the CoES.
