The European Union (EU) Delegation to Tajikistan has announced of the number of high-level EU-Tajikistan joint events, which are taking place in Dushanbe this week.  

October 11 will see the gathering of the 5th meeting of the EU-Tajikistan Cooperation Committee in Dushanbe.  The Committee will be co-chaired by Mr. Luc Devigne, Director, Deputy Managing Director Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia and OSCE of the European External Action Service (EEAS).

On October 11-12, The EU Delegation is going to organize here a high-level Civil Society seminar on "Addressing Radicalization and Violent Extremism – Central Asian Perspective".

This will be already the 7th Civil Society Seminar that the EU Delegation together with non-governmental organization will organize in Tajikistan. The seminar will take place at the Hotel Sheraton Dushanbe.

And as a tradition, the EU Delegation brings the European spirit of art, culture and education to Tajikistan within the frames of annual European Week Festival.

The European Week is an opportunity to promote European values and cultural diversity. It also offers the possibility to artists, musicians and photographers from Tajikistan to participate in its cultural events, while acquainting the European audience with the rich culture and art of the Tajik people.
