A rally dedicated to Youth Day took place in the National Flag Square in Dushanbe today morning.

About 6,000 people participated in this rally.

A theatrical show dedicated to Youth Day will be held at Dushanbe Central Stadium today evening.  

Youth Day is annually marked in Tajikistan on May 23.  By President Rahmon’s proposal this holiday was established in 1997.

Celebration of Youth Day on May 23 is preceded by Youth Week that is full of different events and activities for young Tajiks, including sports competitions, cultural events, poetry recitals, etc.
