As part of his working trip to the Khatlon region, which began on August 16, Emomali Rahmon also took part in the ceremony of commissioning the central stadium in Panj, which accommodates 6 thousand spectators.

The stadium was erected with the use of more than 15 million somoni from the state budget of the republic.

At the meeting with the district's assets, which took place at the new stadium, the president urged the population of Pyanj to strictly observe the norms of the country's laws "On the regulation of traditions, celebrations and ceremonies", and "On the responsibility of parents in the education and upbringing of children".
