A cultural and business delegation of St. Petersburg, led by vice-governor, Ms. Anna Mityanina, will arrive in Dushanbe on September 25 on a three-day visit.  

The delegation members will include representatives of the St. Petersburg administration, businesspeople, physicians and cultural teams.

Ms. Anna Mityanina is scheduled expected to meet with Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Igor Lyakin-Frolov, Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali, and Labor Minister Sumangul Taghoyzoda.

Anna Mityanina and Rustam Emomali are expected to sign a protocol to the agreement of 1999 on cooperation between the administrations of St. Petersburg and Dushanbe and a plan of joint actions for 2017-2018.  

A number of roundtables and meetings on labor migration and interethnic relations will be held during the visit.  

Besides, physicians from St. Petersburg will give master-classes to local medical workers and provide advices to the Dushanbe population.

Russian musicians will give vocal master classes to students at Dushanbe music schools.

On September 25,  the Mariinsky Opera soloists Victoria Ystrebova and Grigory Chernetsov will give a concert at the Opera and Ballet Theater.  

A concert of the St. Petersburg vocal band “Feel’armonia” will be held in a concert hall of the Tajik Philharmonic Society in Dushanbe on September 26.
