Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has signed a decree on convocation of the next 12th session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) on September 25, according to the Dushanbe administration press center.

The main issue to be discussed at the upcoming session of Dushanbe local council is the preparation of the city’s economy for autumn-winter 2017-2018.  Deputy Mayor Farrukh Jumazoda will report on this issue.

Besides, two members of Dushanbe local council – Fazliddin Mahmoudov, elected from constituency 56, and Sitora Sherova, elected from constituency 67 – will voluntarily turn over their powers. 

Powers of Dushanbe legislature member Tohir Mirzoyev, elected from constituency 61, will be terminated ahead of schedule in connection with his death.
