President Emomali Rahmon yesterday attended an official ceremony of introducing the metallurgical enterprise of Tajikistan-China Mining Company into operation in the northern city of Istiqlol (formerly Taboshar).

The enterprise reportedly poured the first ever lead bars in Tajikistan.  

Emomali Rahmon made mark No1 on the first lead bar.                      

Construction of this metallurgical enterprise officially commenced in April 2014 and 57 million U.S. dollars have reportedly been spent for construction of this enterprise.

More than 600 people now work for this enterprise with annual capacity of 50,000 tons of lead.
