On Tuesday March 6, Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament (Majlisi Oli) endorsed ratification of a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Germany on financial and technical cooperation. 

The financial and technical cooperation agreement between Germany and Tajikistan with a total value of 31.1 million euros was signed in November last year.

This amount is reportedly expected to be provided to Tajikistan in a form of grant and technical aid within the next two years.

According to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, these funds will be used for implementation of projects in social, health and energy sectors.
