Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Dushanbe on a state visit. At the Dushanbe airport, Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been met by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
Thousands of people welcomed the Uzbek president on the way from the Dushanbe airport to the Tajik government’s residence in Dushanbe.
The two sides are expected to discuss issues related to political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
They are also expected to discuss a number of regional and international issues being of mutual interest.
