Cambridge Worldwide Academy (CWA) Tajikistan is opening in Dushanbe. CWA Tajikistan will offer a dual education system (British and Tajik).

The school is located on a state of the art purpose built campus housing indoor sporting facilities and two buildings: CWA Nursery-Primary and CWA Secondary.

CWA Tajikistan Personnel Manager, Ms. Shabnam Alinazarova, says CWA offers a seamless dual education provision from nursery to secondary level.

According to her, the school management is subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom Department for Education.

CWA Tajikistan will issue both Tajik high school diploma and UK certificate of secondary education.  Besides, CWA Tajikistan graduates will receive two certificates of vocational education: the Certificate of Leadership and Management and the Certificate of Corporate Skills.

According to information posted on CWA Tajikistan’s website, the Nursery-Primary school will open in September 2018 and will cater for 132 preschool children and 264 primary pupils.  The Secondary school will cater for 280 students and both buildings will have approximately 572 students and will provide outstanding education with a focus on an engaging curriculum leading to Tajik and British qualifications, inspiring teachers and excellent learning resources to help learners enjoy and succeed in their studies.

CWA Nursery and Primary provide children with outstanding teaching across the primary and early years curriculum so that they make excellent progress while enjoying their learning. Studying at CWA promotes the development of children through the use of the best British teaching methodologies and creative approaches to learning.

Its mission is to champion a dual education system that nurtures and educates competent and compassionate leaders in local communities and in a global citizenship.

CWA’s objectives are reportedly in providing a learning and teaching environment that supports and challenges all learners, responding to the education needs of all learners and acknowledge the need for differentiation to allow every child to reach his/her potential, creating learning conditions where children acquire confidence in their abilities and take responsibility for their studies and achievement, encouraging children to aim higher through applying themselves to their studies and maintaining the same discipline both at school and in their social and family life, creating, maintaining and developing a positive image of the school through close liaison with all stakeholders, and developing the pupils sense of responsibility for the school, the community and society.
