Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has ordered to plant six million trees, shrubs and flowers in the Tajik capital during this autumn and next spring, according to the Dushanbe mayor’s office press service.
“More than 1.5 million trees will be planted in the city’s parks alone,” a spokesman for the press service of the Dushanbe mayor’ office told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, Dushanbe-based organizations and economic entities irrespective of their forms of property should not only plant the trees but they should also provide further care for the planted trees and flowers.
