Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Spitamen Bank has opened a banking service center in the northern city of Panjakent, Sughd province. 

The center-opening ceremony that took place on October 30 was attended by Navrouz Samandarzoda, acting Chairman of the Spitamen Bank Board, Panjakent Mayor Islom Shofiyon, as well as representatives of the Panjakent education department, private sector and media.  

The center reportedly has all necessary equipment to offer its customers worthy level of service.  The center provides full range of banking transactions, including opening of operating accounts, money transfer, banking card processing, lending, etc.    

Spitamen Bank, with headquarters in Dushanbe, reportedly has fourteen branches across the country, including five located in Dushanbe. 

Spitamen Bank started its Microcredit Deposit Organization in the country as Spitamen Capital in 2008 leading to a banking license from the National Bank of Tajikistan by 2014.  The company holds the license for banking operations in both local and foreign currency.

In 2013, the Closed Joint Stock Microcredit Deposit Organization 'Spitamen Capital' was named the winner of the BID International Arch of Europe Award; an award presented to organizations focusing on a high standard of quality.

Currently, Spitamen Bank is considered one of the most active and technology-driven banks in the country.
