Dushanbe mayor urges to rehabilitate idle private enterprises

Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has given owners of Dushanbe-based idle private enterprises six months to rehabilitate their enterprises, according to the Dushanbe mayor’s office.

By mayor’s decree managers of Dushanbe-based idle private enterprises should restore operations of their enterprises until April 1, 2019.    

If owners of the privatized enterprises, which are not used for their intended purposes, do not take measures to restore operations of their enterprises, they [enterprises] will be returned to state in accordance with the country’s legislation.

A special working group has been set up to control the process of restoration of operations of the privatized enterprises, which are standing idle or used improperly.  The group members include deputy mayor and heads of Dushanbe’s districts.
