Tajik judoka Komronshoh Ustopiriyon participated in a prestigious international judo tournament, Guangzhou Masters-2018, which took place in Guangzhou, China on December 15-16.  

231 athletes, including 117 men and 114 women, from 53 countries of the world competed for medals in this prestigious international judo tournament.

Komronshoh Ustopiriyon participated in the men’s U90 kg category and took the 7th place.  

Winners reportedly received 9,000 U.S. dollars each, silver medalists – 6,000 U.S. dollars and bronze medalists – 3,000 U.S. dollars. 

Komronshoh Ustopiriyon (born 7 January 1993) is a Tajikistani judoka.  He won the Grand Prix Antalya in 2018 and Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2017 and GP Astana in 2014 U90kg.  Besides, Ustopiriyon won bronze at Asian Championships in 2015 and silver at the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2015.  He also won bronze at the European Open in Minsk in 2017.  Besides, Ustopiriyon won bronze, finishing third in the men's U90 kg at the Asian Games in Indonesia in August this year.
